Outdoor sports and sun: managing sweat, clothes, and breaks
During a run, bike ride, or brisk walk, the practical challenge is keeping protection accessible as sweat, clothing, and activity duration change. Planning a suitable break is part of the equipment.

Organize protection before departure
Choose your route and time, considering shade and the UV index. Apply sunscreen according to the label before exposure and check exposed areas with your sportswear: ears, neck, shoulders, and arms may receive uneven attention.
The Biomed package advises avoiding the eye area. During activity, do not correct an imprecise application by rubbing the product toward your eyes: if it comes into contact, follow the immediate rinsing instructions on the label.
Decide where you can stop
Put the product in an accessible compartment of your backpack or bag, avoiding leaving it at the starting point if the route will be long. Plan a safe stop for reapplication: do not apply it while cycling or crossing a section that requires attention.
AAD generally recommends reapplying sunscreen every two hours outdoors and after sweating. The Biomed label requires frequent reapplication, especially after bathing and towel drying. The water-resistant wording does not make sweat and drying irrelevant.
A change of shirt can change the exposed areas
When you remove a layer or roll up your sleeves, recheck the newly exposed areas. Covering yourself with appropriate clothing and seeking shade during breaks remain useful measures alongside sunscreen. Do not use the sensation of cool wind to assess protection.
If you cannot manage reapplication or the program is extended, change the route or seek shelter. The duration of the workout should not depend on the promise that a single application will last until the end.
